The Forsen Modular Sofa is designed by Caisa Leifsdotter. The collection draws inspiration from her childhood summers spent at her family’s summer house in Knappforsen, Sweden.
As Caisa recalls, life in Knappforsen was simpler. There was no television, no Wi-Fi, just time well spent together. Presence, conversation, and connection naturally became the focal point of everyday life and the living room. This sense of togetherness has been the guiding principle behind the design of Forsen, without compromising on comfort, quality, functionality, or aesthetics.
The Forsen Modular Sofa consists of four individual modules that can be combined in countless configurations, from a classic three-seater to a corner sofa or more sculptural and unconventional arrangements. The collection was launched during this year’s 3 Days of Design as part of our exhibition, Art of Gathering, a celebration of the spaces, objects, and moments that bring people together.
Every module is built around a solid wood frame and upholstered in carefully curated fabrics, selected for their tactile richness and enduring quality. The sculptural geometry of FORSEN - defined by its angled backrests and faceted silhouettes - emerges from a seamless balance between comfort and form.
