As our Interior Design Intern, you will become part of our daily design process, working closely with our founder and design team on private residential projects, bespoke interiors, furniture development, and international collaborations. This is an opportunity to experience every stage of a project, from the first concept sketches to the final installation.

At CAIA LEIFSDOTTER, we are a fast-growing Scandinavian Design Brand specializing in bespoke cabinetry, tailored kitchens, and high-end residential interiors that blend refined aesthetics with master craftsmanship. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary design studio.

FULL TIME INTERNSHIP BASED IN COPENHAGEN /
THE INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development of interior concepts for private residential and commercial projects.

  • Produce floor plans, elevations, mood boards, and presentation material.

  • Create 3D models and visualisations.

  • Assist with material research, sourcing, and sample libraries.

  • Prepare client presentations and project documentation.

  • Support furniture and bespoke design development.

  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and installations when relevant.

  • Assist with styling for photoshoots, exhibitions, and product launches.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

  • Are currently studying Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

  • Have a strong aesthetic sense and a genuine passion for Scandinavian design, craftsmanship, and materiality.

  • Are proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Vectorworks, or similar CAD software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software is an advantage.

  • Have an eye for detail and enjoy solving both creative and technical challenges.

  • Are organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced creative environment where no two projects are the same.

  • Speak and write fluent English.
